An entire day spent inside, no matter how much playing and chores you do, will drive anyone stir crazy. After dinner, it was definitely time to get out of the house.
Destination: Le Frenchy
Mission: Eat Delicious Crepes :)
We found Le Frenchy online, as it was touted as being the finest crepe place in all of Nimes. The restaurant is located in one of the city center streets. We've walked to that area many times before, but it was getting pretty late and we weren't really up for the 20+ minute walk each way, so we drove. The city center is not accessible by car, so we parked a few streets over. After paying for the parking, we read the fine print on the meter...Grrr! In Nimes, you do not need to pay for parking between noon and 2PM and after 7 PM. It was shortly after 7 PM... Obviously we had crepe on the brain. Nimes, you're welcome for the 2 Euro tip.
At La Frenchy, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather. Our waitress could speak English very well and was very sweet.
The restaurant offers a full menu of food and crepes, but we already had dinner and had to stay true to our mission!
We ordered 2 crepes and a pot of jasmine tea for the table... Mmm Mmm...delicious goodness.
If you are in Nimes and looking for a nice sit down place to enjoy crepes, go to Le Frenchy. You won't be disappointed.
